Real Demand, But Not Enough Digital Visibility

Carhax LLC had a strong service offering in a high-intent market: automotive locksmith help when people urgently need access, keys, or support. The problem was visibility. The business needed a website that looked trustworthy, explained the services clearly, and helped customers act quickly.

The bigger blocker was Google Business Profile verification. After about a year of trying to get verified, Carhax still did not have the local proof layer needed to consistently show up when nearby customers searched for help.

Without that foundation, the business was leaving calls on the table. The owner was capable of handling more work, but the digital system was not creating enough opportunities.

Highly recommend Alexz! He's upfront, honest, and got my Google Business Profile verified faster than expected. If you're a locksmith struggling with verification, seriously, stop looking and call Nordax Digital.

What They Needed

A Trustworthy Website

A cleaner web presence that made the business feel legitimate, local, and ready to help customers in urgent locksmith situations.

Google Business Profile Verification

A verified GBP profile so Carhax could compete in local search and begin earning visibility through Google Maps and service-area queries.

Local Service Clarity

Clear service framing around automotive locksmith needs, including intent-driven messaging for people who need fast help.

Specialty Service Architecture

Dedicated routes for core automotive locksmith services plus high-value specialty pages for Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Jaguar, Range Rover, Volvo, and Sprinter owners.

Lead Capture and Tracking

Quote, contact, and phone call flows that could route urgent demand quickly while keeping conversion events measurable.

NDVAS Level 1 Infrastructure

Machine-readable visibility structure to help search engines, AI systems, and local discovery tools understand who Carhax is and what they do.

What We Built

We rebuilt the public presence around local intent, solved the GBP verification bottleneck, and added the visibility infrastructure needed for Carhax to show up with more confidence.

Website Redesign

The new site was built in Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind with a mobile-first interface, faster image handling, clear trust signals, and a credible place to send customers who need automotive locksmith support.

Google Business Profile Verification

We helped get the Google Business Profile verified after about a year of prior attempts, unlocking a major local discovery channel for the business.

Local Visibility Foundation

The content and route structure were built around high-intent service demand, including key cutting and programming, all-keys-lost recovery, ignition and door lock repair, module and ECU work, fleet support, and specialty vehicle pages.

Conversion and Measurement Flows

We added quote and contact APIs with Zod validation, honeypot protection, email routing, phone-click tracking, and Google Ads conversion events for form submissions and calls.

Structured Data and Crawl Infrastructure

The site publishes Organization, WebSite, Locksmith, Service, FAQ, Breadcrumb, Article, rating, and review schema, plus sitemap and robots files configured for search and AI discovery.

NDVAS Level 1 Deployment

In March, we deployed NDVAS Level 1 infrastructure so the business could be represented more clearly to search engines, AI assistants, and knowledge systems.

Transformation

Before

Carhax website before redesign

After

Carhax website after redesign

From an underdeveloped web presence to a cleaner, service-focused site built to support local search demand and urgent customer action.

The Outcome

By May 5, Carhax had moved from roughly 3 calls per week to roughly 3-6 calls per day. We are framing that as roughly 10x business growth because the midpoint of the observed call range turns a few weekly inquiries into daily demand.

The owner reported that the business had more incoming demand than the team could comfortably handle. The cleaner story is simple: the phone started ringing every day instead of a few times a week.

The result was not just a nicer website. It was a working local visibility system: verified business presence, clearer service positioning, and NDVAS Level 1 structure supporting discoverability across modern search surfaces.

David has also offered to provide an updated testimonial reflecting the post-NDVAS growth once he has time to put the full story into his own words.
